From an early age, all I wanted to do was farm. I remember learning as I worked beside my mom in her garden,

and watching her take cuttings of an herb or make a bouquet so that she could share it with a neighbor or take it to a friend to cheer them up.

And I was hooked!

Ever since then I have been blending my love stewarding the land and people.

Which is why I started Root and Marrow.

Our goal is to provide the freshest produce, heal the land, and create friendships that will last a Lifetime!

 Shortly after I started Root and Marrow, my brother Austin joined me on the farm. Now my wife Tanya has partnered with me in this endeavor and together we have created what we believe is one of the most beautiful farms in all of Loudoun County! But we don’t want to keep it all to ourselves…

How It Works

  • Purchase a Membership to reserve your spot.

  • Starting in early-October (actual start date varies year to year based on the weather) receive a farmer-selected box of the freshest vegetables each week for 12 weeks throughout the season!

  • Receive amazing recipes, cooking tips, and offers of specialty vegetables, herbs, and flowers, as well as early bird invites to our famous farm dinners!

What To Expect In Your Box

We want everyone to enjoy all of their produce so we do our best each week to hand select which vegetables are in their peak. Each week we try to fill the bulk of the box with popular items that can be used in your everyday salads and meals throughout the week.
